Work For Us
BDMAT sets itself apart from other Trusts by our investment in staff development. All staff are offered a career plan as well as access to a wide range of CPD to enable you personalise your career development journey. We also want to make sure that your well-being is looked after and we have established our own ‘life / work balance charter’ that sets out how we will do this. We also provide a staff well-being and benefits package and membership of either the Teachers’ or Local Government Pension Schemes.
We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunities employer and we want all staff to succeed and enjoy working for BDMAT. With this in mind we have formed a network for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic group staff and a new group for LGBTQ+ staff as well as an active staff forum.
Making a difference to the lives of the children in our schools is at the heart of all we do. If you would like to join us to help make this difference then either apply for a ‘live’ vacancy or let us know of your interest and apply to our talent pool.
We currently have 19 schools in our trust with over 4,000 pupils across three different local authorities in the West Midlands; in fact, we are now one of the largest trusts in the area. We are committed to providing high quality education for all the children in our schools through collaboration, challenge and targeted support, set within a Christian foundation.
BDMAT was formed in September 2017 by the Church of England, Birmingham to be a home for Church of England schools and those schools who support our vision and values. Our vision is that our pupils and staff should experience ‘life in its fullness’ (based on the teaching of Jesus as outlined in John 10:10); they should enjoy ‘success’ and have ‘positive well-being’.
